Billingsley hadn't done well against Isabella recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Bears came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of  9-8 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Mustangs  back in February, they had to take a  10-7  defeat.
 Kaliyah McCary made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and seven unearned) runs off   12  hits. McCary was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Sadie Primm and  Harmony Arnold did most of the damage at the plate:  Primm  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Arnold  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. What's more,  Primm posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Addyson Raines, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-5.
 Billingsley  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are 5-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Billingsley's victory  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 6-8. As for Isabella, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Billingsley will host Autauga Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Isabella, they will take on Maplesville at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
