Northside extended their winning streak to eight on Wednesday, bumping them up to 9-2. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Decatur Red Raiders. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Decatur, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since February 28th.

For Decatur's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reeves Waller, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Coming up, Northside will venture away from home to face off against Gordo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Decatur, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Foley on the 18th.
