While Ace Everson delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Lake Mills. Nobody could stop Everson as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Lake Mills' success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 4-1 (and 5-6 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Everson and Lake Mills will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The L-Cats haven't beaten the Eagles recently, having gone 0-3 since June of 2016.
