Riverton waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victor by a 61-37 margin over the St. Teresa Bulldogs. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 684th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverton pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for St. Teresa, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Riverton will take on Unity Christian in a tournament on Friday. As for St. Teresa, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Heyworth at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
