Abingdon/Avon won the last time they faced Bushnell-Prairie City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tornadoes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans.

Charly Cox paced Abingdon/Avon's offense, picking up nine kills. Cox got some help from Vivian Bigger and her 16 assists. Cori Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Abingdon/Avon's victory bumped their record up to 3-26. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-24.

Abingdon/Avon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Biggsville West Central on the 18th. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Rushville-Industry on the 22nd.
