Council waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Garden Valley Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

Council not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Garden Valley between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Council's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Garden Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Council will challenge rival Salmon River at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Garden Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
