Baseball Recap: Trinity Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Academy lost against Wake Christian Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Trinity Academy came up short against Wake Christian Academy, falling 22-1. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trinity Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Bondy, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Bondy's first of the season.

Trinity Academy's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wake Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
