Soccer Game Preview: James F. Byrnes vs. Spartanburg

The James F. Byrnes Rebels will face off against the Spartanburg Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Spartanburg took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on James F. Byrnes, who comes in off a win.

While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was James F. Byrnes who was credited with the victory on Friday. The Rebels got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Dorman's three. The win made it back-to-back victories for James F. Byrnes.

Spartanburg is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Eastside, falling 4-1. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Spartanburg it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Luke Mullinax, who's now up to two this season.
