Evangel Christian extended their postseason success on Friday against East Central HomeSchool. They breezed by the East Central HomeSchool Patriots to the tune of 77-43. The Lightning's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kemp Swords continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 142 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Eli Black was another major influence, as he rushed for 32 yards and ran in a TD.

Evangel Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 223 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Central HomeSchool only rushed for 108.

East Central HomeSchool's loss came despite strong showings from Nikita Getmanshchuk and Micah Smith.
