Baseball Recap: Roseau Comes Up Short

Roseau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Thief River Falls Prowlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Prowlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 on Tuesday.

Roseau saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anton Klint, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Tucker Kvien also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Roseau's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Thief River Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Roseau will challenge Esko at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eskomos will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thief River Falls, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-9 loss against Crookston on the 8th.
