Basketball Recap: North County Takes a Loss

North County lost against Southern back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North County Knights took a blow against the Southern Bulldogs, falling 49-21. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern found their leader in sophomore Huntyr Marks, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Ren Watkins, who posted 11 points.

North County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Southern, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North County will challenge Severna Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Severna Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something North County surely won't give up without a fight. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
