Volleyball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short

Addison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jonesville Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Addison started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-15, 25-19.

Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-24-3. As for Jonesville, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 19-19-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Addison will challenge Adrian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jonesville, they will venture away from home to face off against Onsted at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
