Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weimar). Their defense stepped up to hand the Danbury Panthers a 56-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Weimar and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Danbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
