Volleyball Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll Takes a Loss

Hammond Bishop Noll lost against Andrean back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Fighting 59ers by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Akinjide Olaoye paced Hammond Bishop Noll's offense, picking up 13 kills. Olaoye got some help from Zebediah Zuckley and his 21 assists. Zeke Zuckley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hammond Bishop Noll's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Andrean, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammond Bishop Noll will square off against Kankakee Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Kougars at the right time seeing as the Kougars are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Andrean, they will face off against Munster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
