Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County lost against Wakulla back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jefferson County Tigers lost 5-0 to the Wakulla War Eagles. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Tigers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson County and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Wakulla, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6-2.

Jefferson County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Marianna on the 10th. As for Wakulla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. John Paul II on the 13th.
