Enochs is 9-1 against Downey since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Makayla Alailima was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Camila Ramirez Quintana, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Enochs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Downey came up short against Modesto last Thursday, falling 10-4.
Downey's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Enochs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
