Baseball Recap: West Burlington Takes a Loss

West Burlington lost against Mediapolis back in July of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 10-9. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mediapolis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Burlington will face off against Lone Tree at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mediapolis, they will square off against Keokuk at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
