Softball Game Preview: Dixie Greyhounds vs. Twin Valley South Panthers

The Dixie Greyhounds will head out to face off against the Twin Valley South Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dixie is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Dixie came up short against Bellbrook and fell 9-5.

Meanwhile, Twin Valley South didn't have quite enough to beat Brookville on Saturday and fell 5-4.

Paityn Cross made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Twin Valley South's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Dixie, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Dixie came out on top in a nail-biter against Twin Valley South in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
