South Lenoir is 9-1 against Southwest Onslow since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Devils will host the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. Southwest Onslow took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Lenoir, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, South Lenoir turned things around against Pender on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Patriots.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 15-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Southwest Onslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heide Trask. While the Stallions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Titans 25-19 in the first set.

Southwest Onslow started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Southwest Onslow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for South Lenoir, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
