Flag Football Recap: Seckinger Piles Up the Points Against Forsyth Central

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seckinger). They claimed a resounding 41-6 victory over the Forsyth Central Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on five straight.

Nalani Gainey had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 170 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 66 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up a sack, making two total tackles, and defending one pass. Lana Madanat was in the mix too, providing Seckinger with two scores.

Seckinger's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Seckinger's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Forsyth Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Seckinger will head out to take on North Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 4.2 points per game this season, so the Jaguars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Forsyth Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-7 loss against North Gwinnett on the 15th.
