If Howell was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Howell Central last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the North Point Grizzlies by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jocie Nepute paced Howell's offense, picking up 17 kills. Nepute got some help from Grace Thompson and her 17 assists. Kylie Poinsett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Howell's loss dropped their record down to 7-21-2. As for North Point, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-3.

Howell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Point, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Liberty on the 25th.
