Softball Recap: Henderson Wins Going Away Against Longview

Henderson put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Longview Lobos as the Henderson Lions made off with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Henderson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Longview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coming up, Henderson will face off against Wimberley at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Henderson's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Wimberley's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Longview, they will challenge Harleton at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday. Longview is facing Harleton at the right time seeing as Harleton is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
