Baseball Recap: Don Lugo Comes Up Short

Don Lugo managed to slip by Colony the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Conquistadors came up short against the Titans on Friday, falling 16-7. The Conquistadors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Diego Guzman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Seth Johnson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Don Lugo's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Colony, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7-1.

Looking ahead, Don Lugo will take on Ontario at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Jaguars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Colony, they will head out to take on South Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 3.9, the Huskies 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
