Volleyball Recap: Marley Tuliau's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tahquitz over Valley View

Tahquitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley View Eagles. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marley Tuliau, who had six kills, three digs, and two blocks. Tuliau has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Gonzalez, who had ten assists and four digs.

Tahquitz's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Valley View, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Tahquitz has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hesperia on the 23rd. As for Valley View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Aquinas on the 23rd.
