Softball Recap: Boston English Eagles vs. Excel/Burke

Boston English put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Excel/Burke. Fans of Boston English have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.

Rose Monestime made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Monestime was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shelsea Jimenez, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, a triple, and a run. Another player making a difference was Alba Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Boston English pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
