Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cedar Bluffs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Buena Vista on Monday, sneaking past 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Cedar Bluffs who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-19, 27-29, 17-15.

College View Academy's record now sits at 6-2. As for Cedar Bluffs, their record is now 6-10.

College View Academy skirted past Cedar Bluffs 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
