Softball Recap: Gloucester County Tech vs. Timber Creek Regional Chargers

There's no place like home for Gloucester County Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Timber Creek Regional Chargers onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Gloucester County Tech also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Aubrey Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Miller was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

In other batting news, Madison Formica was excellent, going 2-for-2 with two runs and a triple. Another player making a difference was Bella Curcio, who went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI.

Gloucester County Tech's win bumped their record up to 9-7-1. As for Timber Creek Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
