Volleyball Recap: Bonneville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bonneville extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping them down to 15-15. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

Shayla Belnap paced Bonneville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Belnap got some help from Cambria Western and her 35 assists. Vespa Trane controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Hillcrest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-5. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 1, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Ali Maddux went supernova, getting 28 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bonneville is set to square off against their familiar foe Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will take on rival Blackfoot at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
