Elida's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bath Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Elida not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bath between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Nartker, who had six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Kendyll Sturgeon also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Elida was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Elida's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Bath, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Elida has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Hardin Northern on the 22nd. As for Bath, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Ottawa-Glandorf on the 25th.
