Baseball Recap: Englewood Takes a Loss

The Englewood Rams came up short against the Bulloch Academy Gators on Thursday and fell 4-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Englewood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenearth Llezeth, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bulloch Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Englewood will take on Beachside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bulloch Academy, they will face off against Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Senators' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
