Volleyball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams's tournament run continued when they took on Lee Williams on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Volunteers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Faith Jensen paced Williams' offense, picking up four kills. Jensen got some help from Lily Weatherhead and her ten assists.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Lee Williams, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11.

Williams has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against El Capitan on the 11th. As for Lee Williams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Willcox on the 11th.
