Football Game Preview: Mercer County vs. Anderson County

On Friday, Anderson County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Mercer County at 7:30 PM. Anderson County have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Anderson County had enough points to win and then some against Meade County last Friday, winning 34-19.

Meanwhile, Mercer County couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it on Saturday as the team lost 19-20 to John Hardin.

Anderson County's win lifted them to 2-0 while Mercer County's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Anderson County can add another positive mark to their record or if Mercer County can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Anderson County's step.
