Auburn waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Galax Maroon Tide by a score of 3-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroon Tide, too.

While Auburn might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Galax scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Galax, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Auburn has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Northwood on the 18th. As for Galax, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bland County on the 18th.
