Soccer Game Preview: Hampton County vs. Bridges Prep

The Hampton County Hurricanes will square off against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton County knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Bridges Prep likes a good challenge.

Bridges Prep better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Hampton County's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Hampton County really gets things going. The Hurricanes never let Ridgeland get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Hampton County have won five matchups by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four contests, Bridges Prep finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Hilton Head Island, falling 4-1. Bridges Prep's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Taelyr Daugherty, who's now up to four this season.

Bridges Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Hampton County, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
