Lutheran came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 80-42 win over the Mt. Olive Wildcats. That looming 80-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crusaders yet this season.

Despite the loss, Mt. Olive still got an impressive performance from David Schoen, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. Schoen continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Briley Viviano, who posted eight points.

Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Mt. Olive, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will take on South County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Mt. Olive, they will face off against North Greene at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
