Loyola Academy piles up the points against Saint Ignatius College Prep

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Loyola Academy Ramblers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 41-7 victory over Saint Ignatius College Prep. The win was just business as usual for Loyola Academy, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Loyola Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Fitzgerald, who threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Arogundade, who rushed for 137 yards.
Loyola Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Loyola Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. York is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Saint Ignatius College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
