Softball Recap: Sycamore Finds Home Field Redemption Against Mercy Mcauley

There's no place like home for Sycamore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mercy McAuley Wolves on Wednesday, sneaking past 11-10.

Sycamore let Alex Davis and Adeline Murphy run wild. Davis scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Murphy went 1-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariane Pichardo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Sycamore back to even at 1-1. As for Mercy McAuley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Sycamore will face off against Ursuline Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mercy McAuley, they will take on Goshen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
