American Heritage extended their postseason success on Thursday against Somerset Academy. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Panthers. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on six straight.

Enrique Santos looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, American Heritage got a massive performance out of RJ Machado, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Joseph Castro, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

American Heritage hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.

American Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Somerset Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.
