Pioneer posted their closest win since April 1, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the King's Academy Knights 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will square off against Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christopher will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pioneer surely won't give up without a fight. As for King's Academy, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Branham on the 15th.
