Gig Harbor waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Silas Rams. This was a revenge game for the Tides: when they faced off against the Rams back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Gig Harbor was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Silas still got an impressive performance from Cameron Green, who had four digs and four aces. Emily Sanderford also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Gig Harbor's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Silas, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.
