Basketball Recap: Weequahic's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Weequahic's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 victory over the Bard Raptors. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 230th in New Jersey, while the Raptors are ranked 648th in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Weequahic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-51 victory against Tech on the 23rd. As for Bard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-46 defeat against KIPP Newark Lab on the 23rd.
