Football Recap: Lejeune Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lejeune's game on Friday was all tied up 6-6 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a hard 28-14 fall against the South Lenoir Blue Devils. The Devilpups just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the defeat, Lejeune saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grady Mahaffey rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

Lejeune's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Lenoir, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lejeune will head out to take on Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Lenoir, they will venture away from home to square off against Spring Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
