Preview: Lynn English Bulldogs vs. Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons

The Lynn English Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Lynn English's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Brockton scored an imposing 79 points on Friday, Lynn English still came out on top. Lynn English managed a 84-79 victory over Brockton.
Lynn English's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pierre Veras, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmelo Buese, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cambridge Rindge & Latin waltzed into their game last Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They secured a 47-43 W over Westford Academy. Given Cambridge Rindge & Latin's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Westford Academy is ranked 115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lynn English is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Lynn English strolled past Cambridge Rindge & Latin in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a score of 79-60. Will Lynn English repeat their success, or does Cambridge Rindge & Latin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
