Basketball Recap: Trinity at Meadow View Comes Up Short

Trinity at Meadow View lost against Christ Chapel Academy back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tempest fell 41-30 to Christ Chapel Academy. The Tempest have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christ Chapel Academy was led to victory by Nyanbuot Woul Makec and Arianna Taylor. Woul Makec dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards, while Taylor posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, Woul Makec now owns an excellent 47.8% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Dasia Smith, who had eight points.

Trinity at Meadow View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Christ Chapel Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

When Trinity at Meadow View and Christ Chapel Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Tempest will challenge Saint John Paul the Great Catholic and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. Meanwhile, Christ Chapel Academy will try to stop St. Michael the Archangel's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
