Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Hurricanes vs. Medina Christian Academy Knights
With a playoff game on the line, Brooklyn rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Medina Christian Academy Knights out 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Hurricanes as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Brooklyn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 17-25, 25-9, 26-24, 16-14.
Brooklyn was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.
