Football Recap: Palisade Sets Scoring Season-High Against Grand Junction Central

After only six points in their last matchup, Palisade made sure to put some points up on the board against Grand Junction Central on Friday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 49-23 win. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Palisade's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylon Larson, who rushed for 78 yards and two TDs on only five carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Larson a new career-high. Adyn Cassity was another key back, rushing for 72 yards and one score.

Palisade now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Grand Junction Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
