Volleyball Recap: John Hardin Comes Up Short

John Hardin was the 2-1 winner over Central when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16.

Kiley Wells paced John Hardin's offense, picking up six kills. Wells got some help from Kaylynn Curry and her 11 assists.

John Hardin has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. As for Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 12-12-1 record.

John Hardin will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grayson County at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th. Central has already played their next contest (against Oldham County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
