While St. Anne put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Grant Park. The Cardinals blew past the Dragons 10-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Carter Ponton, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Grant Park off the board. Ponton has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jesus Chaca-Tapis was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Another player making a difference was Brandon Schoth, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

St. Anne was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

St. Anne's record now sits at 13-9. As for Grant Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
