Preview: Taconic Thunder vs. Agawam Brownies
Taconic is 4-0 against Agawam since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Taconic Thunder will be playing at home against the Agawam Brownies at 5:30 p.m. Taconic will be looking to keep their 19-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Even though Pittsfield scored an imposing 65 points on Monday, Taconic still came out on top. Taconic walked away with a 76-65 victory over Pittsfield.
Meanwhile, even though Pittsfield scored an imposing 64 points on Thursday, Agawam still came out on top. Agawam narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Pittsfield 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Agawam has posted yet this season.
Taconic's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Agawam, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Taconic against Agawam when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 76-42 win. Does Taconic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Agawam turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
