Volleyball Recap: Laguna Hills Comes Up Short

Laguna Hills came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Costa Mesa Mustangs, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-14.

Laguna Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Costa Mesa, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laguna Hills will take on rival Kennedy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Costa Mesa is set to challenge their familiar foe Valencia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
